Our Mission
The Society is committed to the promotion of perianesthesia nursing as a specialty and enhancing the professional growth of its members.
WISPAN Profile
Membership discount to all WISPAN Conferences. There are two state wide day-long conferences yearly: winter, and fall, these conferences are very informative, and offer CEU’s. Plus numerous district inservices.
Invitations to all conferences and district inservices.
Receipt of the AWAKENING, a quarterly newsletter by and for perianesthesia nurses.
Availability of Scholarships and Grants.
Ability to network with nurses through out the state.
Support and resources to assist members who wish to become certified PACU or Ambulatory Surgery Nurses.
Yearly recognition for an “Excellence in Clinical Practice Award.” --
